SAFETY
DROPPING OFF & COLLECTING YOUR CHILD:
We need all people dropping off and collecting tamariki to follow this diagram and these instructions please and as per below, Car Park Tikanga & Diagram.
No parking in any of the pink areas, we need these kept clear for cars to stop and collect their tamariki
Absolutely no parking in red areas please.
The 4th car park closest to the gate needs to be kept free so cars can get out, and there is no parking on the kura grass berm or the neighbours one
Your first option is to park properly down the road or in a designated car park inside the kura car park. Otherwise you follow the green arrows and keep circling until you see your child, then pull into one of the 3 pink areas and collect them
Follow the traffic flow and keep moving. If you don’t see your child outside waiting carry on out the gate. If they are not out there, do another loop and go around again. There is to be no stopping in the middle of the road and holding up traffic.
If you are going to park, park properly. Most whānau have been awesome and are really supporting us to get this right
However the odd few are continuing to ignore staff and turn or reverse in unsafe places and park in the middle of the road, even leaving their cars there
Kia kaha tātou, we are trying to make this as safe as possible for our tamariki, and as painless as possible for you.

SOCIAL MEDIA AGE LIMITS
Remember: Our students should not have accounts on Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and others but we are aware some do. For most of these they are not eligible until they are 13 yrs old, meaning not only should they not be on these platforms but, they have obviously lied in order to have these accounts. They shouldn’t be accessing these at their ages as they are then exposed to all sorts of content that is difficult for them to cope with and for you as parents to monitor. The Whatsapp age restriction is 16yrs.
