We have this list to assist our tamariki to have the correct fuel to maximise learning.

Our Kura is committed to accelerated learning and to support this we take an holistic approach that includes kai. We are what we eat and if we want our brains to function well we need to supply the appropriate fuel.

Legal Kai / Brain Food:

Fruit / Vegetables

Plain Basic Muffins

Rice Crackers, Nacho Chips or Corn balls

Pizza (cold)

Soup Noodles (pre-prepared in a container)

Quiche (cold)


Sandwiches or Buns filled with salad veg or protein

Crackers or Scones

Plain Biscuits Pikelets

Cold Meat e.g. chicken etc.

Please Note: We can not heat any kai from home
